Why we ask
Mt Albert Baptist operates a range of ministries which require funding to be effective. We have no external sources of funds and rely by faith on the generous support of God’s people, prompted by the Holy Spirit.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7

- The Giving Post Box in the wall next to the welcome desk.
- General giving
- Bank transfer, supporting the church overall.
- Global missions
- Bank transfer with the reference missions, supporting our overseas workers.
- Building project
- A separate account, supporting our renovations.
Receipts and tax
As a registered charity we provide a receipt at the end of the financial year for tax purposes, which lets you claim back 33% of your donations for the year.
