Life Groups
Life groups are small groups of people who meet regularly in people’s homes to encourage one another, pray together and learn more about being followers of Jesus.
We have many groups running on different week nights, and can help you find one where you can connect and grow.
Courses
Global Missions
As a church founded more than a century ago, MABC has a long history of sending missionaries and Christian workers overseas — more than 100 people, to 25 countries across Asia, Africa and the Pacific.
We now partner with a number of missionaries, providing prayer, encouragement and, for some, financial support. We also support the Baptist Mission Fellowship.
International Ministries
We are a multicultural church that welcomes anyone and everyone. People from other countries who have made their home in New Zealand have a special place in our church.
As a way of celebrating that diversity we regularly host Global Café Nights and other international events, indoors and out.
If you are new here
- Newcomers’ Lunch
- Once a term after the 11am service, for anyone new in recent months. We ask how you have got on connecting, and describe the ways into church life here. Lunch is provided.
- 60+ Morning Tea
- A termly informal catch-up with the pastoral team — what is happening in the church, and a chance to give feedback. You do not need to divulge your age at the door.
